/whois

Look up detailed information about an online user, including their channels, idle time, bio, and registration status.

Syntax

/whois <nickname>

Parameters

nickname — The user to look up.

How It Works

Displays comprehensive information about the user in a result card. You can see: their channels, shared channels, how long they've been online, how long they've been idle, their away message (if set), their bio (if set), whether they're registered with NickServ, and client details (browser, OS, screen resolution, language, and timezone) when available. You can also trigger /whois from the User Lookup dialog or by right-clicking a nickname in the nick list or chat area. You can look up yourself too.

Rules & Limits

• The user must be online (for offline users, use /whowas instead)
